EL ARTE DE MIRÓ EN EDUCACIÓN INFANTIL

Esta semana, dentro de la programación de nuestra biblioteca-ludoteca, hemos comenzado a trabajar con los niños de infantil el arte. El cuadro que hemos elegido para comenzar es "El disco rojo persiguiendo a la alondra" de Joan Miró. Tras ver la lámina, en la PDI hemos seguido analizando el cuadro y después ellos lo han reproducido con diferentes técnicas.. ¡Auténticas obras de arte!

We are goint to use CD cases! In this class, they've we used potting soil to plant their beans.

Day One:

Tips:

• The hinges of the CD case should be at the top. That way you can stand them up and dirt won’t fall out. Also this leaves a nice hole at the top for watering the plants with droppers.
• Plant your bean high in the soil. If you plant it toward the bottom the roots will grow out the bottom!
• Tape the bottom shut. This will keep roots from growing out the bottom, and curious fingers from opening the case.
• Use masking tape and permanent markers to label whose plant is whose.
• Around day 5 or so I untaped the cases overnight so that they could have a little bit of space to grow. I taped them back in the morning. By day 7 or so, you will be ready to label your plants. We used paint pens.
• Plant your bean with the concave side down. It should resemble the letter “n,” not the letter “u.” I didn’t tell my kids this. I just let them discover it… which was a nice learning experience. Just depends on which way you’d rather teach it.

Un acuario con material reciclado: y los peces durarán para siempre!!!

Siempre es agradable tener una mascota en clase, pero no siempre es fácil de mantener y los niños lo pasan mal cuando algún pequeño animalito nos deja, como es natural... Por eso nos parece tan interesante la idea de un acuario reciclado con el que los pequeños puedan disfrutar sin riesgos. Os dejo el texto y las fotos originales de madebyjoel.
I really like using boxes we get in the mail for other things before recycling them, so I made this small aquarium toy. Instead of taping the fish to the top of the box, I decided to make it more interactive by cutting slits in the top and tying buttons to the threads. This way the fish can be moved around like puppets. It’s actually really beautiful to watch. When you slide the buttons, the fish spin and dance, creating a happy swimming effect. It’s a great recyclable toy. You could leave the back and sides of the box attached. I just wanted to create a space that was open and light. It would be fun to paint the inside of the box too though. Try it out!

En el aula hemos trabajado además con el cuento ¿A qué sabe la Luna?, cuento con el que además hemos hablado de los animales, de los tamaños, y de los gustos personales de l@s pequeñ@s.

Dominó de los oficios

Tanto en inglés (Community Helpers) como en español, estamos aprendiendo en infantil el tema de los oficios. Para ello os dejo un dominó en color y otro en blanco y negro que los pequeños pueden personalizar.
